March 22, 2009 Edmonton EskimoCheer Team Event!
The Edmonton Eskimos Cheer Team consists of 46 members - 16 males and 30 females - ranging in age from 18-29. Under the direction of Dianne Greenough, in her 14th season, this
amazing acrobatic team dazzles crowds wherever they go. Along with attending all home games & select away games the team performs at over 200 community events across Alberta, every year.The Eskimos Cheer Team travels to an elite Professional Dance Workshop in the US each summer as well as attending a U.S. Acrobatic training camp & competition every year. This past summer the team took 1st place in the Acrobatic Cheer Competition, 1 dancer received a scholarship to a New York Dance studio and another young lady was offered an opportunity with the L.A Lakers Dance Team!
These amazing student athletes are active volunteers in the community and proud to represent the City of Edmonton and the Edmonton Eskimos Football Club.
